I design brick-built fire apparatus online under the name Silver Ridge FD. Everything here is modeled on real rigs from real departments, researched properly before a single brick goes down, and built on the idea that good design comes from the details most people would never bother with.
I also have a thing for knights and medieval artwork, which is where a few of the stickers in the Quartermaster came from. And a not so hot take while I have your attention: skeletons are badly overdone in the fire space.
The plan for 2027 is to join either USWFS or Washington DNR for fire season. If that lands the way I want it to, this becomes a firefighter owned business next year.

What is Silver Ridge FD?
It started as a side project, a custom LEGO® fire department of my own. Plenty of people online do this as a hobby and I had been drawn to it since I was a kid, but I did not have the money to actually build the trucks. So I started selling them instead, and here we are.
As of writing, the first Silver Ridge trucks are finally in development. Eventually they will get their own spot on this site.
What is Rebrickable, and what is LetBricks?
I started on Rebrickable selling the instructions and the parts list. You can still buy any design there and build a pure LEGO® version if you would rather source the bricks yourself.
LetBricks and their sister sites are the only manufacturers of my designs as physical kits. Nobody else is licensed to produce them. They also turn up on Amazon sometimes.
What is included when I buy a kit?
Every sticker made for that model, all the parts, the instructions as a QR code linking to a digital PDF, and a proper box.
How long does a kit take to arrive?
About a month, give or take a few days. Kits are produced on demand until a model sells well enough for LetBricks to run a batch and stock it in the US warehouses. Once that happens, that model gets a lot faster.
Do you put function over form?
No. Form comes first, every time. These are designed with accuracy at the top of the list, and if I have to give up a compartment to get the stripe right, the stripe wins.
That said, I work function in where it does not cost accuracy. Detailed rollup compartments, removable hose, roofs that come off.
What scale are the models?
1:32, minifigure scale. Same scale as LEGO®'s Speed Champions cars, so they sit right next to anything else on that shelf.
