Build class is about time and piece count, not difficulty. Every kit uses the same techniques and the same instruction style. A Chief kit is not harder than a Firefighter kit, it is just a longer evening.

About the real apparatus

The rig behind the model.

This 1-1 model is a Brick recreation of Napa Fire Department's, 2012 Rear Mount Aerial, Truck 1. This build was made in honor of America 250 and the 4th of July! It has a very uniquely painted design, which is a long held tradition in Napa's Fire Department. It has a 1500GPM Pump, 300 Gallon tank and a 105' Ladder. It is stationed at Station 1 in downtown Napa.

Furnished with a full interior, this rig comes with a full sticker pack along with purchase to detail the exterior of the truck. This truck has a tool board with fence cutters, a halligan and fire axe. In the other compartments is car extrication equipment, a generator, water cans and more. In the back compartment on the right side is 4 outrigger plates to use when deployed. Above the pump is two crosslay hose's you can pull out. The ladder can fully rotate and extend, but if you want to extend it, you have to remove the outer fences on the outer ladder piece so you can move the inner column forward. On the end of the inner column is a water monitor as well. It also has a swappable sticker for the ladder board!

This truck in my opinion is definitely the best one I've ever done, and I'm really proud of it. The decaling took a hell of a long time to do, which contributes to why I'm proud of it. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do! I recommend using a exacto knife to trim the star stickers since some are cut in half, It does not come with the flag hanging from the ladder.
