How long this one takes.

Build class is about time and piece count, not difficulty. Every kit uses the same techniques and the same instruction style. A Chief kit is not harder than a Firefighter kit, it is just a longer evening.

About the real apparatus

The rig behind the model.

This 1-1 model is a Lego recreation of San Diego Fire and Rescue, Lifeguard Rescue 44. It is a 2015 Pierce Saber with a unique crane and shortened stubby chassis. The crane is extendable in real life, but in Lego at this scale its not possible, so instead its a simple 3 fold arm crane. It goes on about 66 calls per year and is my first ever Saber. Let's also note, I hate this build lol, just not my liking and I only made it since its unique and I'm doing San Diego at the moment anyway.

Furnished with a semi interior, this rig comes with a full sticker pack along with purchase to detail the exterior of the truck. Inside the 5 rollups is different packs of gear for cliff rescue's including specialized ropes and harness systems, you will also notice on each side in the middle of the rollup compartments is 8 links of flexible rope you can chain together to create a 2.4ft rope which can attach to anything with studs on each end, if you put a bracket around a minifig's neck you can put a minifig on the end of the chain. The crane can turn 180*, with the aforementioned 3 fold system to extend and fold up.

Last crane build for god knows how long so enjoy it lol, hoping to make a CAT excavator for LA County this June or July though. No green plate or minifigure is included, they are included in the renders for representation of the chains length.
